A partially lined clip will leave the bottom half of the metal clip exposed, or not covered by ribbon. Some feel that a partially lined clip "slides" onto the hair easier. A "fully lined" clip features ribbon covering the ENTIRE inside AND outside of the clip. No metal is exposed on a fully lined clip. Some feel a fully lined clip provides better grip than a partially lined clip. While I advertise my alligator clips as "fully lined" I can make them "partially lined" at your request. Please be sure to indicate this request upon checkout. All baby snap clips are partially lined as there is no way to fully line these little clips and still have them function properly.

Non-slip grip refers to a lining or material that is applied to the inside of a clip to help it hold onto even the thinnest, barely-there baby hair. 3AM Inspirations uses a NON-SLIP GRIP that is NOT CRAFT FOAM, GLUE, MAGNETS, VELVET or SHELF LINER! I have found what I think is a BETTER, THINNER non-slip lining that works like a dream! It is so thin, I can even apply it to the inside of my baby snap clips. I KNOW IT WORKS BECAUSE I USE IT ON MY DAUGHTER'S CLIPS! I apply my non-slip grip to the upper portion of each clip, leaving the bottom half of the clip free to slide easily into all hair types. All of 3AM Inspirations clips will come with my non-slip grip already applied. If you prefer NOT to have this non-slip lining, please let me know at checkout. I can always add non-slip grip to any clip, but removing it is next to impossible!

If you have a child with thin, fine, wispy or barely-there hair, my baby snap clips will work best. I line the inside of each snap clip with MY non-slip grip for the tightest hold. These clips won't slide off! Guaranteed! FYI, my 2yr old daughter still wears baby snap clips. If your child has lots of fine baby hair, or even thicker normal hair, the alligator clip is your best bet. I offer 1-3/4" alligator clips with and without non-slip grip. Rest assured, even if you purchase a non-slip clip, it will still slide easily into thicker hair as the non-slip lining is on the upper portion of the clip. You should buy hair clips according to the type of hair your child has, not by her age.

I can make many of my bows in larger volumes for retail stores and salons with a 7-14 day processing lead-time. Due to the handmade nature of some embellishments, some clippie styles will not be immediately available for volume ordering. Wholesale discount varies according to order size. Please, please, please supervise your child while she is wearing any hair accessory! While I design my clips so that they won't fall out of your little girl's hair, I cannot prevent them from being pulled out by her persistent little fingers. A Few Rules For Safer Use: 1-Always inspect each clip for loose parts before using. 2-Always remove clips before naps and at bedtime. 3-Always keep clips out of reach of small children when not in use. These clips are designed to be a FUN fashion accessory!Use your common sense and you should not have any problems!
